My stay was such great for a business trip. A laptop-size safe, a sofa bed, and central heating inside the king room were handy. The staff was courteous and nice, the bathroom was particularly good. It was in a marvellous and awesome location right by downtown sights, all major places in the city and the metro and many local restaurants and a grocery store.

Booked a room with a king size bed. The staff were accommodating, everything was great during our stay. The location was incredible, close to Harris Teeter. We dined at a trendy nearby restaurant with local dishes.

Could not get a cab from hotel.Took hotel staff 15 minutes to contact a cab company and another 20 minutes for a cab to arrive. No air conditioning on check-in floor - too hot and stuffy to eat at restaurant.

Nothing special. They advertise that they have free high speed Internet, that is a lie. They give a very low speed Internet good only for checking your email, good luck with downloading an attachment or a presentation or a large file. This hotel is not for the business traveler. Also do not let the name fool you, it is nowhere near the us Capitol. The hotel is far from where the business traveler needs to be so the taxi cab fare to go to and from where you need to go makes the low cost of staying at this hotel a major expense. Last, don't you dare take a stroll inthe area after dark, not safe at all despite the fact that the hotel is located next to an atf building.

The gym was excellent, with plenty of equipment, while the inviting pool was perfect for winding down after a day of adventure. Plus, the location was a dream for easy metro access and delicious food options nearby!
